@CB - Get what you're saying, but don't sell a cheap salvation. Just believing isn't enough. The demons believe and tremble, but they're not saved by any stretch of the imagination. And God isn't calling us to a "cover your bases" relationship either. True belief and faith result in commitment and action, a lifestyle that reflects one's belief and trust in God. Also, Jesus is coming back for a bride, not a casual acquaintance, one who loves Him deeply and appreciates Him for all that He is.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. @ rab, of course theres a commitment that goes along with your belief. I said I wasn't going to go into details. I thought that was a given. Revert back to my first post, thats all that needs to be said on the subject.
