What is your definition of blind faith?
I'm not really getting how God (the one true God) can be defined in many ways, unless one has mixed in a lot of other gods/religions together. In Hebrews it says God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. To the ones who do not believe in scripture then it's bogus anyways but, like myself I have bought into the bible hook, line, and sinker.

Why couldn't have God caused the Big Bang?
I saw a bumper sticker once... I laughed a little...
The Big Bang Theory: God spoke and *BANG* it happened.
Now of course, this is childish right? It only makes sense that the big bang was a result of our 3D plane of existence colliding with another 3D plane of existence in a 4D universe, which itself is a plane of existence in a 5D universe, etc... and that atomic particals are comprised of tiny vibrating strings that move freely (while attached to our plane) throughout all eleven dimensions, and gravity is merely these tiny strings that actually leak out of our plane into a higher dimension. It makes so much sense, it doesn't even matter that we can not observe any of these things to confirm that this is how reality is run, we all should embrace it for the science that it is.
