I don't know if it is progress. I recall a time when I didn't have to worry about viruses hitting my pager, or when there wasn't a TV in every room giving off radiation, or when in our daily lives we didn't go from the computers at home to computers in our pockets (smartphones) to computers in cars to computers at work. Now they are putting computers in refrigerators of all things. Who would have thought keeping something cold until I consumed it could be so complicated.
