Apparently some people in game think it is, "Un Fair" and noobish to shoot others while going for the scrum ball. I think it is a fair process because one you can shoot, and two they get in the way. Is it my fault that they get in the way and I don't play by the powder puff rules? No it is not... but why should I be dealing with such a thing, I think of it like this. If I have full health and everybody else has less health it gives me a better chance to kill them and get the scrum ball.

For one if you are complaining about me shooting you in the ass while going for the scrum ball. You need to grow up and face the facts, not everything is going to be based off your rules.

Of course all rules in games like TT serve a purpose. In this case, let them get the scrum first. Otherwise, you just have tanks bm'ing with the scrum just sitting there. Is that the kind of game you want for scrum?

I'll make this short and refrain from attacking your obviously flawed logic. You want to play scrum? Then you'll have to follow the server rules. Don't feel like it? Each server is privately hosted and has private admins/moderators to make sure things go smoothly. Its up to whoever hosts the server to make the rules. Unlike years ago, perhaps when you were around, shockwave had 20 servers with no moderators so people could ruin the game as they please, like DEMO (TANTY). Thankfully this is not the case anymore. Generally most hosters go by the rule that if you shoot somebody without the scrum on purpose, that would be BMing in a scrum server, which is frowned upon. I wouldn't expect folks to like you when you are shooting them before they even get a chance to score.

Yea but what I find the problem is the fact that three people are literally right near it. I have no choice but to shoot at them, and doing so will eliminate them down to where I can get the ball for a few seconds. It's just complete bs that players sit there and complain while I am playing the game how I play. It's kind of like any other game you play by their specific rules but you make your own tactics, and apparently mine are elimination. Got kicked earlier for using my own tactics. It is b s to me imo.

Well Jay it is starting to look that way because obviously nobody can accept the fact that I aim and shoot regardless of their situation. It benefits me and not them, and if they have to keep kicking me they will. Banning however doesn't apply to me because I will jump right back in every time.

Well obviously you guys like to play by the powder puff rules in my opinion. I will just keep playing by my process of elimination regardless of their rules, but I will limit my area to two players by the scrum ball or near it.

I also noticed earlier a guy named wOOt!, and he was in front of me going for the ball. He literally stopped in his tracks and let me pass because I was shooting his ass thinking he was going to get it. Basically it was a head start for me to knock him out. He just stopped let me pass and it just seemed like he had the what the...? reaction. If I think you are going for the scrum right away I am going to shoot you...

It is just ridiculous to have such a bs rule.

Play in CASA DE LAG. I've never been the staunchest supporter of that stupid "rule". I figure if they are within a few tank lengths of the scrum they are fair game. If the scrum is halfway across the map and you shoot me out however I'll ban your little ass. I'm just not ridiculous about the whole thing.

Such tactics are even frowned upon over at InstantAction. They call it "prefire".
It was decided a long time ago by the majority of players that ass-shooting in indy is unfun, hence the creation of server rules. Learn the powder puff rules or make your own server. I'm guessing woot let you pass so that he could could give you your bullets back, or he was typing admin commands.

Those type of statements make me wonder what type of player you will be. Will you be somebody who people like playing with, or NOT? Rules are there for a reason. Think about what that reason might be.

Cloud Partial IP does not matter to me either there are thousands upon millions of fake ips to use and to trick you with :P
I still state that the rule is bs, and I am an aggressive player not a sit and have fun player.
