Port forwarding (another problem)
Ok I know that there are millions of posts that are like this, but I didn't take the time to look. I was following Benblue's tutorial for Port Forwarding a router, but I when I got to step 2 I got stuck. Benblue's pic showed me that there should be a password blank for me to put in my password. I have no idea where that is. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a firewall running on the computer as well as the router? You may need to allow connections for TT on a software firewall, too.

Re: Port forwarding (another problem)
Most routers have a built in firewall.
This would be easier if you told us specs about your computer and router.
Router brand, model, etc. and system specs of your computer

Re: Port forwarding (another problem)
Sounds like you have a cable modem... that probably doesn't have a firewall.
What kind of computer are you using? Who makes it? What is your operating system?
Is your computer directly connected to the cable modem, or is there a box that the ethernet cable plugs into before it goes to the cable modem? Maybe you have a wireless connection. What wireless box is it running through?
