1. Locate your ThinkTanks folder
2. Open up game folder
3. Unzip the downloaded Triv's Map Collection file
4. Inside that Copy data folder
5. Go back to the ThinkTanks/game folder location
6. Paste there the data folder. It will very likely ask if you want to overwrite some files. Just click yes to all. No need to worry it won't overwrite any of your personal skins.
7. Now you have all the extra art files and terrains which didn't come with the game.
WHERE TO ADD - MISSION FILES
8. All the mission files are in the main folder(expect two)
9. Go in ThinkTanks/game/data/missions location. Inside that folder drag all the mission files.
10. You can't host the maps from Create Game menu until you change the mission file's name like instructed below. But the mission files work when hosted from Dedicated as long as you edit the dedicated file correctly.
Read the NOTE about Maps to see full list of the maps with their names.
GUIDE HOW TO ADD A MAP TO 'CREATE GAME' MAP LIST
1. Move first all the files to their correct places as instructed on the 1st post. Open up missions folder.
2. Rename your chosen mission file to TT3_5.mis (e.g. if you liked the map TSpecial02. You rename TSpecial02.mis into TT3_5.mis)
2. (b) If it doesn't accept that. Then you increase the last number one higher -> TT3_6.mis
3. If in your missions folder all files has .mis or .ter ending showing up. Make sure that in the end of your file reads .mis
If .mis and .ter endings aren't showing. Just ignore this as they are automatically placed.
4. Go create a game from the Create menu and browse to the end of maps. Now there should be available a new map to play on. Enjoy!
Like something you see? Click to save the picture and you can see what is the map name e.g. TSpecial02
