How Do I Play My TGE Mod On My Mac?

I have made a Mod on TGE for ThinkTanks and have received Information on how to do things from alot of players but now, I've hit a dead end.

I have transfered my .mis and .ter filed to my ThinkTanks/Resources/Game/data/missions folder and as advised changed the .mis file to TT1_5.mis. I was also told to Modwiz the rest of it, boost pads re-spawns and the like but I can't get my mission onto ThinkTanks like I did when I practiced how to use Modwiz. I get a dark screen after Freudian Flats saying at the bottom "Kerringstone Knoll" (My mission) and when I click create It loads then says the ConnectionError message-
"You do not have the correct version of the Torque Game Engine or the related art needed to connect to this server, please contact the server operator to obtain the latest version of this game."

How do I get my unfinished mod on ThinkTanks to Modwiz it and eventually play it? Does anyone know what to do/try?

As far as I know there is nothing that explains this already on PTT2 but sorry anyway if there is and I haven't seen it.

P.S. Im new to forums and I don't know why there are 3 of my posts It might just be me but it might not

When you renamed your mission to TT1_4.mis, did you also rename the .ter file to TT1_4.ter and did you open the .TT1_4.mis and change the line on that mission file to point to TT1_4 also? Also make sure you did not use any objects on TGE that started with "demo" If you did you will get that error. Your TGE folder needs to be exactly like your TT folder. I just copy and paste and let replace in TGE.

Thank you very much you've solved part of my problem :thumbup: things are looking brighter.
To find what's wrong with my map I go on terminal and set up a dedicated server and It says what is wrong there like "File failed to load blah/blah/blah/Blah.ping (null)" etc. Now though it doesn't say anything about objects so thats solved.

It now says-
No such file demo/data/terrains/highplains/scorched.
No such file demo/data/terrains/highplains/scorched.jpg.
No such file demo/data/terrains/highplains/scorched.png.
No such file demo/data/terrains/highplains/scorched.gif.
No such file demo/data/terrains/highplains/scorched.bmp.
No such file demo/data/terrains/scorched.
No such file demo/data/terrains/scorched.jpg.
No such file demo/data/terrains/scorched.png.
No such file game/data/terrains/scorched.png. (and this goes on of about 50x this)

, and I think this has something to do with terrains but I cant work out how to fix it. So do any of you know how to fix this for me?

You may not use files from the demo folder. You may only use stuff from the game folder which you copied from your thinktanks. This is because you do not have the same files on TT as on TGE in the demo folder, not all files work on TT so no point in copying the effin thing.

You can only use objects out of static objects & game folder if it still asks
You can only use terrain skins out of game/data/terrains NOTdemo/...
...

^ yes you will need to copy your game folder (Thinktanks.app/contents/Resourses/Game). Then you will copy that to you TGE Folder Not the folder saying torque game engine enter that folder first then you will see the folder torque demo. (only attempt This if using terminal fails)Inside the folder there should be a text file called the main c.s now open that and

Now open your TGE app and see if it works but dont go on the mission editor just yet. Next go to Demo data shapes and then copy and paste all the files into you Game/data/shapes folder if it says a file name already exists click dont replace
Now open of TGE again and go on mission editor and see if it works Then open a mission from Game/data/missons DO NOT PICK ANY OF THE TT?_?.mis (they will not work) open something like dashes if you got em or use a Fstr map
All doneand thanks for finaly setting up a thread about this instead of bugging me in MI
REMEBER: this is only an alternative way of using the TGE for TT use I discoverd this way and it worked for me so this hasnt be certified Its just a mabey okay

I did what CB said and that sloved the Objects and Scythz solved me the Terrain (I thought i was finished when I saw Firestorms :tankerembarras: ) I couldn't Have this far without you so Thank You very very much :thumbup:

But there is still yet more problems .. The fog doesn't work properly and there is no music, any help?

I'll look for any answers on the forums and edit this if I find out how. If you want to see for your self ,My new MOD is on my servers, Si| Scurms (lush+1Mod) and Si| ScruMod.

^ okay no problemo To get music simply open your mission file and at the top add

I've done what you said Firestorm, It made no difference other than make the sky flicker when I moved. It doesn't matter now though. Post closed
