Turning the sound off

Post by Jay »

Maybe some kid'll come in and tell me that I lack the technical aptitude to use a computer and am doing the internet a disservice through my existence here, but...

... how the frick do I turn the sound off? All I want to do is be able to listen to some nice relaxing breakcore-drill and bass lullabies without hearing HIEAL POWERUP every two minutes...

I remember there was a way to do it before, on the original ptt? change some things in prefs?
and yes, I HAVE done a search. but am at a loss

thanks in advance

You should go to "Options" on either the "select tank" or "choose name" menu. There you can turn the sound off by sliding 2 bars (1 for "music" and the other one for sounds like "heal powerup"). There is something to be able to change it in game, but I never got around installing it, let alone using it properly.
