A pure upload/download sub-domain called downloads.planetthinktanks2.com has been created for your use.

If you are a FTP user looking for file space online [armies], AND a registered user of PTT2 please FTP to this account:

Once inside downloads.ptt2.com, please create a USER/ARMY folder for your goods and put YOUR STUFF into it. You may then link to those items in your folders in your posts and what nots here on PTT2.

can you give me some more info on this? I have an account in the image and skins area. How is this any different from that?

I came across a situation where I didn't want my zip file to be all extracted in the gallery album...ie tread packs are 7 files, or the mod interface pack tons of files. So, I figured folks would like an upload area for maps and zips and such, that you can link to easily being the same .com nearly, using a "URL" link with the bbc codes this can be achieved.

and this is a public access account...for now...everyone can upload to the same sub-domain freely. You can use a browser or an FTP application like ipswitch to access the ftp index and have at it. [(edit: or webshell as noted in first post)]

you don't have to register to use it, just point your browser or app to the sub-domain and log in.
