Could it be possible to make a skin that was clear. That would be funny because all you could see would be the gun, brain and wheels!! But could it be possible or does it just show up as white?

I didn't actually try this, so I can't say for sure, but Thinktanks recognizes the Tank01.jpg file, not Tank01.png , and a .jpg file can't be transparent.

Thinktanks can also use PNG for tank skins, AFAIK. Someone actually tried making a all transparent PNG skin once and it just bugged up the game. Didn't work. TGE uses alpha files for transparencies instead.

I am going to try re-saving some of my tank skins as PNG to see if they work. PNG is a lossless format and gives much higher quality than JPG files.

I just tried an all "clear" skin using PNG transparencies. The skin shows up as just a black colored tank. However, I re-saved two of my skins as PNGs from the source images. Although bigger file sizes, they look much better. The wires on Mechanized especially.

Rename as proper tank filenames. For example Tank01.png

revision four high-def. Save as Tank01.png and move Tank01.jpg somewhere else.
Mechanized high-def. Save as tank03.png and move tank03.jpg somewhere else.
