I liked the original ptt because of its news reel. you might have gone away for awhile, doing something else, and have no idea of what is up when you come back. can we sticky a "News" thread to the main tank talk or somewhere else? I think it would cause less problems in the future. I didn't even know KOTH was launched (for an example).

just a suggestion. :wink:

thats a sensible idea, a news reel! like if someone was on vacation they could just find out at a glance whats up! and if u make it you may want a thread for people who would want to join and maybe a usergroup for reporters and workers.

I'd be annoyed at you for unearthing this if it wasn't a good idea. The only problem is that the main page goes to the forums directly, instead of a news ticker like PTT1 did, but assuming PTT2 could piece together a team of reporters (maybe photographers and v-loggers), it would be awesome. Maybe with a shared account on YouTube for videos?
EDIT: Chilled Lizard had a TT podcast a while ago that was sort of like this. A podcast could be another option for this.
