Is there a list of all the people that bought TT within the first year or so? Im just curious. I think Pai has something like that, anybody know where it is, or if there is a list?

I remember when that matrix tank came out. After a good week i figured out how to get the dang thing on my tank and then no one could see it! I cried myself to sleep that night

Those guys are all newbies from my perspective. I frickin saw Jang come out of the womb with all that sticky crapp all over his turret for god's sake. I had the game about 1 - 2 months into it. First person of significance that I remember meeting on the field was Dan MacDonald. At the time, he was the best BMer I had seen (and still may be). He could blow anyone way with 2 rounds of his turret in a light tank in seconds. When I saw him, he would sometimes be fending off hoards of newbies on his lonesome, kicking much arse. One on one, I stood no chance against him. I just remember angrily and repeatedly charging at him screaming "DIEEEEEE" as he blew me apart. Those were the days.

He is one of the if not THE BEST tbmer everrrrrrr!

And I think he bought game within a year of its release.

I only met Ben a couple of times, but he was a real help, and a fun player. He told me that the SW servers weren't the place to meet the best players. I bought the game a little bit after that.

Ben was one of the first people I ever met in a mod.

It was huge and snow-covered. I remember driving over huge peaks and trying to go through air goals. This was months before Napalm's Siberia mod.

Never did see him again, though. I have wanted to thank him for a long time.
