SINce I've been out for almost 2 years now, is there a link that can explain to me what is and/or has happened. Why PTT2? Is the game the same? DO I need to d/l a new version? etc.... Thanks.

Well, the short version is that the original PTT was a victim of DOS attacks and was shut down by Dan Mac's ISP. When that happened, he let it stay gone. At about the same time, Sawbones, Supra and others started up this site. When PTT was gone, people migrated over here. (generally true, possibly inaccurate in a detail or two)

The game is still the same, but if you have a Mac, you might want to d/l a new copy if you are running OSX 10.4 because there was a problem with sounds making it crash.

Actually, I think they started up PTT2 a few weeks before the Armageddon. Otherwise, I think you covered everything.

I wasn't sure I had all the facts when I said

It was CB who actually started ptt2 along with doc sawbones.
