Is PTT2 slowing down?

Is it just me or did PTT2 just take a nose dive on how quickly the pages load? It takes me 30 second to load a page and a full minute to post... (And BTW I have cable and all other sites load in a couple seconds)

EDIT: It seems to change now. I can load a few pages at just a bit slower than normal, but then 5 minutes later it takes almost 30 seconds...

I noticed a long wait time this morning, too.

Sometimes when I try, I get a blank white page with text on it that says something like "Cannot connect to database". If I try a while later, it all seems OK.

^ I've gotten that before, I just asume PTT2 is down, or temporarily under maintenance or renobation.

but I don't think that's related to his symptoms

I have also had this problem, although intermittent and seem to be getting long load times on pages with images that are being resized even to the point where the image does not appear and remains a thin blue line (which is what i feel i am walking right now

)

Works fine for me, but I do get the "could not connect to the database" error once in awile. (only when loading the index page)
