You want to recruit however possible.. but you also want some relative parity of team skills or else you get lopsided wins, lack of fun, waning interest, no shows, downward spiral.

Thats also why (I have always felt) captains should be pretty much 1st round quality players, as they are the first pick of the team.

Also, only as an FYI, I'll throw the cpt hat into the ring only as a last resort, would much rather just show and play.
I can and will if needed to help keep moving, much better candidates are out there if they would step up.

At a time when interest in TBML is peaking, I have to withdraw my name from league play. I will be leaving on vacation June 9th. See you all in TBML 11.

You sure you have to pull out Major. The middle of June is when its hoping to be started, and as far as I know its still not in stone. So unless your going to be gone for the summer you can still participate.
