I haven't commented on this thread until now, but I just have to say that first off, as someone who played CTF back in the day and enjoyed it quite a lot, I'm glad you guys are making the effort to recreate it.

That said, I don't get the obsession with recreating the maps in the exact same way they once were. Why is it so important to get the placement of every object dead on? If you guys are doing it for your own personal satisfaction, that's all fine, but I kind of doubt anyone is going to complain if a rock or power up is a few inches off. We'll all just be glad to have the great game of CTF back in our little corner of the world!
And, if anything, I'd almost like to see a slightly "re-imagined" version of CTF, since I'm sure the communities map making skills have improved since that time.

All in all, good work guys! I don't even have to see it to know that.

Lonewolf, you give me some contact info I can find him. I live in Eugene, where GG is located. I could drop by, but I have no contact info. Perhaps a letter is best. PM me if you want me to try and find him.

OM- Brings back the good ole days. Hope we get the old CTF league back up. Give it a few months for the server to be up, get us back into shape.

Possible hosters at this moment are (dash, phobik, dazzle, woot????) Perhaps multiple servers.

the last spooky map today .
Needed a total re-vamp
to turn it into a CTF map.
Took us all most 4 hrs.

That doesn't include
what Dazzle has to do
yet with out me .

Frantic maps are all that's left .

Still no word from 56 Lag Man
no big deal though .

Just a quick update as to where we are. The spooky maps are now complete and I am just in the throws of converting them to into IA maps, which will be done by the weekend - so only the frantic maps left to do. So it wont be long now..........
