PsychoScrum League Season 16: Season Mode

Given my new found love of xtranormal, I will attempt to fill LC50's vacancy. Unlike my other movies, I will keep these clean, and PSL16 relevant.

Roo - great maps! Thanks!!! My personal favorite is Spinal Tap. I will review again this evening, although we probably need to finalize in the next day or so.

^ you need to e-mail the captains for a vote. See the rules about substitutions -- they must be approved 24 hrs before game time.

I agree we need to have some alternate servers.

To summarize, the options recently suggested are:
Phobik's (Toronto) battle tested
Dr. Sawbones (Las Vegas?) battle tested
Napalm? (Chicago)

Any others that are going to be reliable and updated every week? Musick's server was backup last season and he has been very reliable. Not everyone was happy there as I recall (but who is happy everywhere?). Also in the rules, you cannot play on the same server that you are hosting from. It needs to be on a separate computer.

I am fine with any of these servers. What we will need to do though is assign each match directly to a certain server. That way everyone will know ahead of time where they will play. I think we should allow the captains to negotiate and trade servers by mutual agreement.

I am going to tally all the map preferences Sunday morning and come out with the Master schedule.

Let's make a final list of servers that we are going to approve for this season (assuming dash doesn't magically re-appear at some special moment... ).

I don't mean to dis on nappy volunteering to serve, but in all fairness we should ask Doc if she could possibly host, reason being for the west coasters. The guys play all the way on the eat coast servers most of the time and just in fairness to them they should have the opportunity to play at least 1/2 of their match's on a west coast server.

Oh and I also spoke to doc a few days back, seems she has 4 separate machines all running on different connections, heck might ought to ask her if she can do what BC was trying to accomplish.

Whatever you guys want, but if you need a fall back, the server should be put up and tested.

I might suggest having a few alternate servers out there so anyone can use them if it fits their needs.

Bottom line is you want a server that works for the majority otherwise the game isn't worth playing. East coast or West, same - same.

I'll see what I can come up with, if it doesn't work, that's ok, if it does, good for us.

Not to complicate things, but I will volunteer my server if it's acceptable.

I don't know if it is or not, but it's available.

I don't know if its really important but - My server is not hosted from my house. I can host and last weeks game people said it was good, soo....just let me know.

thanks wooter. i must say, i'm experiencing a bit of high ping burn out lately. seriously takes the fun outta the game.
