or...p'haps doc's server. she hosts flightschool which never has anyone in it and it's p'haps more central. arizona i believe.

Hey RX, sorry to bail so late on captainship... but here we go... I'm bailing out on being a cappy this round for reasons of tight scheduling issues and I don't want to blow it for other folks.

That said, I'm still in as a player. Maybe you could get that smart guy, the Professor, to cappy-up for you.

If anyone's got a beef with that, I'll meet you in the back room.

I've mentioned this before in another thread, but if someone can set up a time to walk me through how to host, I should be able to. I am located in the center of the country, and could thus provide the most "equitable" lag treatment to most.

I am available most Saturdays - give me a time frame that works for you and I will work around it. Things to know in advance:

G4 mac will be the machine hosting
Not entirely sure about the router
High speed DSL - "elite" AT&T, whatever that means for upload and download.

The past 14 months have been a trial. I went into business with/for my mother and my sister, but really my sister.

Alas, I write. I'd love to play Wednesday nights, but my situation is uncertain (certainty = non-suck internet access / free time, or something). I have moved out of my place into lands without bandwidth for now. Comcast cable will come eventually, but I have to be sure that I have the funds to feed before I have the funds to play.
There's also the time factor, but I think it is a lesser one. I think I am maxed out on firings, and the store has coverage Wednesday nights.

Maybe pencil me in as a wildcard, a mid-season call-up. If someone wants to spend a draft pick on me, do so knowing that I intend - and would much like to - play at some point this season, but know this:
a, I most likely suck, and...
b., I can make no guarantees.

It seems that destinty, despite your affinity for Barry Manilow, no, wait, I'm too old for games, in recognition of our affinity for Barry Manilow, has brought us together in the quest to serve TT. (are you listenening to this Joe?)
