i actually wish i could watch the Pain vs Revenge match. i envision some heated battles around the goal.

Belikin and Paci vs Lone and Monica at the goal with Breaka, Jangles, and Dar fighting it out against Fish, Tanker and Roo to control the scrum. some really nice match ups there.

still predicting Revenge emerges victorious in a really hard fought close battle!

as for the Bags match...we certainly wont be underestimating a Baba, Dash and Grreat combo in the playoffs. recent playoff history for top seeded teams is working against us as well.

to clarify...is the playoff format first to 2 wins? so no ties? or is that just for the finales?

From da rules:

PLAYOFFS: The top 4 teams will advance into the playoffs to be determined by final league standings. During the playoff matches, the teams cannot tie. Thus a minimum of 2 games are played using the same match scoring system described above. In the event of a tie after the first 2 games (e.g. Tie followed by another Tie, or a Win-Loss followed by Loss-Win) then a 3rd game is played. Additional games are played until a team has more points than the other. For example, if Team A wins Game 1 and Game 2 is a Tie, Team A wins the match (final score of 3 to 1).

There won't be any filming of this match. Perhaps on IMAX during the finals on a dedicated server, but not this one.

Personally, I see a lot of surprises. here. The Bags - and to some extent, Tankbusters - gelled immediately since each member played nightly on a weekly basis. They probably had team meetings and executed drills and such...who knows..I don't care. The other "lower-rung" teams...well not so much - in fact, as in our case...like never. NOW, we see where the cream rises to the top. I don't see Bags over-muscling Tankbusters at all - and I would double that bet if someone would hand Get Some 3 bucks for a better connection.

DJ and I joked frequently thru the regular season that it was just a matter of getting into the playoffs and then freeing up some time to wipe any delusions of grandeur off the smug faces of the TT faithful. Apparently, now that time has come. Time to study a map......

oooh ive been waiting for someone other than tanker to provide me with some motivation. thank you jingles. please make sure you guys man up and beat the Pain so that i dont lose my tackling fuel in the finals.
