PsychoScrum League Season 15: Map Selection!!

MAP SELECTION!!
I went through many piles of old maps and dug out these classics! I found 19 excellent maps for 4 on 4. We need 12 for this season (10 regular season and two post-season). All players, please vote by posting:
(a) two maps you want to save for the post-season, and
(b) 5 maps you want to eliminate from the list
That will leave us with 10 maps for the regular season. From your responses, I will pick the maps.
It is a bit hard to fully remember the maps from these small screeinies, but if you stare at it awhile it will all come rushing back to you.

So, without further ado
In alphabetical order:

1. Baloney Pony (dash)
Wow - perhaps the funnest map of all time!


2. beta (dash)
Classic fun map


3. Carlisle Wheeling (MonkeeMan)
Classic large MonkeeMap. Was a home field for me in an early PSL.


4. DB12 (dash)
A long and fun dash map.


5. Epinephrine Embankment (MonkeeMan)
A mountainous early MM Frantic!


6. Fornix Field r1 (MonkeeMan)
Was a home field for an early PSL season.


7. gamma (dash)
Hours and hours of fun on this fast map.


8. Histamine Highlands r1 (MonkeeMan)
The very first MM map ever!


9. Icy Red Wolfland (Rooster & Woot)
Wicked fast and tight.


10. MM_Frantic04 (MonkeeMan)
Classic MM Frantic extravaganza!


11. MM_Frantic05 (MonkeeMan)
Fast Frantic maps - was used as a home field in PSL by NUTS!'s team once.


12. Occipital Oasis (MonkeeMan)
Was home field for the Black Sheep once in PSL - baaaa!


13. Putamen Passage (MonkeeMan)
The famous battleground of Tally Ho & Rx Vs. Hanksta Tanksta & Bolo 2 on 2 challenge (guess who quit mid-game when they were losing...)


14. Receptor Ridge (Original Stack TT)
OMG! So many great games here.


15. Scrum Totem Island (Rooster & dash)
Hehe! An old classic (a little big but super fun).


16. Serengeti Slopes (Rooster)
A Roo classic.


17. Shooter McGavin (dash)
Also a PSL home team one season. A very well balanced map.


18. Temporal Terrace (MonkeeMan)
Oh man - some wicked intense 3 on 3 Tourney games played here. Someone threw up after playing a challenge here...


19. Zor & Zam (MonkeeMan)
A bit odd, but fun nonetheless.

Love the idea of classics, just the screenies bring back memories. Cant wait to drive on em!!

I would like to host a test server but dont recognize some
of the MM missons by name. ie Zam and Zor

Some of my MM mis files are named MM_Lush01 etc so
with a bit of clarification a server could be provided

Had a preview with roo of the maps real expertise in those maps tough choice
but my vote goes too scrum totem island by dash

For the maps where there are blue/green "sides," it seems as though if a goal were to spawn in one team's territory, any player on the other team would spawn on the other side of the map. (of course, this would balance out over two games, but having freebies for both sides doesn't necessarily make that right either.) Have there been discussions over whether that has a significant effect on gameplay?

For now, my vote:
Postseason - Occipital Oasis (12), Receptor Ridge (14)
Leave out - Scrum Totem Island (15), MM_Frantic04 (10), DB12 (4), beta (2), Serengheti Slopes (16)

If the spawns were to be edited on the "sides" maps so that any given player had at least a chance of spawning next to the goal, or if goal "sides" really have no effect on the game:
Postseason - Icy Red Wolfland (9), Shooter McGavin (17)
Leave out - Zor & Zam (19), MM_Frantic04 (10), Fornix Field r1 (6), Scrum Totem Island (15), Serengheti Slopes (16)

Keep the beta, gamma and Baloney Pony as mid season maps. I suggest we have Occipital Oasis and Serengeti Slopes as the Post-Season Maps, but eliminate DB 12 and Receptor Ridge.
