I have had no problems with Woohoo. Woo, I know you will be back in an alias at some point. I dont see why people dislike you so much, considering I have played many games with you and had no problems.

Alright, I'm going to try to make this short and sweet for a change, though it does deserve a long post.

Woo, I understand where you're coming from. I too have bad lag, though mine comes from dial-up, and yours from long-distance connection. Both have the same effects on others, and both have the same annoying effect on our own tank/shots. I also have had a past of misinterpretation by this community. About a year and a half ago, my dad was on the forums. Before he left a month or two later, certain individuals were doubting that we were/are two seperate identities. Then, about three months ago, some new guy came on here and strted posting. DrSaw said him and I shared the same IP, but I still have no idea who that guy was.

So you see Woo, I have had my version of your problems. I have great respect for you for putting up with yours much longer than I did/would have done so. My best advice to you is to explain yourself, as you have, be willing to see others' perspective of this, and be able to meet them halfway. And for those who refuse to talk, and there will be some... ignore script on TT and the enemies list here on PTT2 work just fine. And remember Woo, your bullets, and theirs, will hit later than expected, because of your lag.


Everyone else... w00t and Jay, nice posts. Most of the rest of you, please try to remember, this is a cartoon tank game. When you guys play me, you know that your bullets and my own will hit just a bit later than normal. When playng against Woo, remember the same thing. This will help greatly to ease tensions with him, but only if you and him make an effort to do so.

Final regards to this.. drop the accusations of impostering. If this guy impostered and was cursing (as he admits)... well, he has a right too. He puts up with a lot of BS, and he has put up with it for a long time. As such, he would, theoretically, have the right to vent it, whether in cursing or occassionally more radally by impostering.

But the impostering doesn't make sense. This thread is Woo trying to get some sympathy out of us. He's been around long enough to know that impsters get caught eventually, and he's smart enough to know that being caught as an imposter would not help him. C'mon now, he has no reason to imposter.

That's all I have to say on this matter. Not as short as I thought, but well worth it. He obviously wants this to end, since he made, and is sticking with, this thread. So let's meet him halfway, guys, and let him do the same.

P.S. I never did get what you guys meant by matching IPs. Do you match the exact IPs, or only the first two digits, or all but the last four digits, etc.?

My apologies Woohoo, I just checked the IP addresses more carefully and discovered several coming from your area. Its hard to tell what is going on, and who is doing what.

I'm not going to ban you Woohoo. But please try to ignore those who seem to be picking on you and instead of retaliating, PM me with their names. I'll do my best to reprimand any trouble makers. I think you like playing TT as much as I do and I hope we can find ways to maximize our enjoyment.

Oh, he'll be back, he loves this game. I think we've all been through frustrating events before. And even as hurtful as they are, we grow a little bit because of them.

This impostering behavior seems most unlike woo. If anything, when woo has a beef with you, he's pretty straightforward. I wonder...who would try to antagonize us enough to place the blame on woo. Hmm...

Only time I've had an issue with Woo was about a week ago, when he exclaimed "kick the bm'er, before I get fu**in' pissed", and then shot me out. Not a good tactic, which I assume he figured out when I kicked them both. Other than that, I've never had issue one with him, in fact helped get Norm escorted out for him. He's always been fine to me, maybe a bit socially mal-adjusted, but fine. The impostering thing is hard to believe since he's so easy to pick out of a crowd, and his vernacular seems to be born straight out of the movie "8 mile".

Woo, I'd say ease up on your lengthy retaliations of alleged or intended BM's, and most people will let it lay. Admins try to do their best while still being able to play the game, but we do not work for you, otherwise I'm filin' a grievance for some backpay.

I'm voting no on the ban.

see, here is the folly of woo's over reacting. i trust in everyones endorsement of woo but all i ever noticed of him was alot of screaming about being bmed and then turning to watch him spray bullets into whoever he was chasing. hurts your case when you become the bmer.

chillax woo and the community will rally behind you. stoop to a lower level and misunderstandings will ensue.

^i have followed him and watched him spraying the crowd down...sorry but this aint about lag here when he pulls up behind you sitting still and kills you...he is a BMer. he may be oold school woot but he has developed a serious attitude.

^ It could be a case of lag, its hard to tell with a vague description like that. You know, he's turning the tank, lags, and a few seconds later, you see bullets all over the map. Or maybe he was doing it because you were following him. I don't know, I'll let him answer that, but there are other possiblities.

As for the title... there are very sarcastic people in te world. The fact that he put the "..." signifies to me that he didn't mean it (if he has meant it, why not another "!" ?)
