Here’s my biased opinion.

shhhh...... Stink. No reason to freak out about a stinkin' cartoon tank game. You post way too much on these forums, in way too much detail which tells me that you've got to spend some time off-line and check in with reality and real people again. It's one thing when you call me a fa.g, we jest, I am an a.sss back to you, etc.... I get it, I've got the humor skills. It's another when you assault a sincere individual in such a sustained and negative way, when their offense is really so minimal. Keep it simple.

Now to Slug. Just shhhh...... and let Stink rant. You have nothing to prove. As you pointed out yourself, his posts illustrate the issue pretty clearly. You have nothing to defend. If you need some ego support, here you go -
Over the years, you've demonstrated that you're one of the most sincere TT players out there. You bring humor, class and an uncommon humility to the game that is certainly less common in your younger counter-parts (me being one of them). In all my years of playing, my observation has been that you are one of the key individuals who brought the game out of potential chaos and put some intelligible words to the gutteral utterances that flowed from otherwise skillful players. TT is full of skilled vet and junior players who can talk their share of smack, but it is lacking in articulate and diplomatic players who can express themselves and their ideas about the game in a constructive and non-offensive manner. That said, as one that puts their neck out there with the detailed academic theories, you should expect that you’ll receive some feedback – both positive and negative.

You're leaving the game would certainly detract from this latter pool of individuals mentioned above. It will be highly disappointing to see you leave because of a little diatribe that Stink posted on a thread. I'd challenge you to apply your own perspective of analysis to the situation before you leave and ask yourself if:

1) we're all not worth your time
2) you'll let yourself be routed out by 1 buggery custard's opinion
3) you'll leave despite the fact that you love the game.

If you can say yes to all three, then off you go.

This is just one bastid’s take on it.

Stink – I know you have the gut for it, so take my lambasting with a grain of salt. If it gets to the point where you REALLY do get mad at the cartoons… then I suggest logging onto to some big-boob porn and chills out. That’s what we all do, isn’t it?

Blummin eck boys & girls. Go on holiday for 2 weeks & I have war & peace to read when I come back... (erm, not much peace actually).

My advice - TT is fun. Have fun playing it, get wound up by peeps, laugh with peeps punch the keyboard even. Then switch off the PC knowing that the fun has enriched your life, then get on with life. If this doesn't happen, there is a problem....

How come, when I play TT I only ever feel love? Euro time?
