TUTORIAL: Installing TGE (PC) - by Trivox (UPDATED by Daz)

Stiif send me your mission that is shutting TT down I can fix but I need the mission

well i got every thing to work... but when i open the batch and try to join my server it loads every thing then right at the end when it lights the mission it comes up with the error report and shuts TT down. any sugestions

I was Installing Torque game Engine DEMO, I dont know if I got confused or not, but when I tried loading the mission (The one you get from the site) it keeps saying "You do not have the correct version of Torque demo or the resources needed to play on this server, please contact the server operator or visit the Torque project web site for more information. (Invalid packet.) If it helps, the .mis and .ter File I downloaded was TB01 Nemesis Plains.

What I think went wrong: I messed up on the Dedicated Batch File.

this is what i do copy a mission from ur TT folde and place it TGE/game/data/missions. now start TGE and open mission and use that mission to modd off

^ Didnt Work, Got Same Message. I put the Ter and Mis of the Mod in missions, loaded, Same Message.


EDIT:
I reinstalled my TGE, I can now Load it. but, Another Problem, when It fully Loads, TGE Crashes.

is it as soon as you load tge it crashs or when u try to mod?

I edited Batch File, Got it in game, I put in a T1 .mis and .ter File in missions, I started up Batch File, TGE Opened, I got to the orc guy (why orcs?), Pressed F11, File/Open Mission/game/data/missions/T1.mis

Datablocks loads, Objects Loads, Lighting Mission, Crashes.

I think I installed it right...

u wernt supposed to use thoes missions use a differ mission like wiztriv inc.
