Why are the newer tanks and bling not offered for the stand alone version? I do get the whole backing of the IA concept etc. I am thinking that if you allowed people to upgrade at $10 - $20 a shot you could make some money. I am also assuming in my nobishness that it would not be to hard to add, but probably am wrong, thought I would ask.
As it relates to IA I will be adding 2 cents as well. However, I will take it to the support area there.
Please don't take our passion for a game you help create personally. You can feel the frustration. To me, you may have created the game but we as a community have kept it going. Personally I think we would all love to see GG take a bigger hand TT. I for one would love to see TT competition were the winners would get an iPod. Like the RockitBall championship.
DAZZLE'S UPGRADE PACK
If you haven't already done so, upgrade your game by downloading Dazzle's all-in-one upgrade pack. It comes with everything you need for today's servers. Does your blue bar freeze when joining servers? Do you lag in games? Do you get an annoying siren in Phobik's Servers? This is what you need. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD.

Re: The Future of TT from GG!
it would take more resources than we currently have available to work on this, and the expected return on the investment of this time (given the other things we are working on) would not make it worth the effort. It is the opportunity cost here.. it would not be hard to add, but it would be an expense of resources that I currently do not have to spend. Why are the newer tanks and bling not offered for the stand alone version? Re: The Future of TT from GG!
What is the plan/ schedule for TT2 via the beta version. Primarily a master server to assess the lag (a swear filter would be a good idea, when I have been in the IA version the language has been terrible, the F word lots & racism etc etc) & ultimately product launch? I appreciate that development can be difficult to time-scale, but roughly.
Is it possible to put a hassle/ cost factor to some of the things we are asking? Lag, more reticle options, full screen mode & game instructions. Is there a concise wish list anywhere? Maybe if we could see a rough plan we could help to guide & assist...

"You have to adjust the user agent string to make instant action
believe you're using safari 2.0 as it thinks 3.0 is old."
How is that accomplished?
I'll see what I can find out when I get home to my Mac.

You smell that?
Do you smell that?
Napalm, son.
Nothing else in the world smells like that.
I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!

defaults write com.apple.safari IncludeDebugMenu 1
this gives you a "develop" menu in safari. then ...
Develop -> UserAgent -> Safari 2.04
check out the development menu there is a lot of good stuff in there for a web developer

Re: The Future of TT from GG!
i like the part where, despite the fact that i have both the latest versions of firefox and safari, instantaction tells me their site doesn't work well with my browser...then asks me to download the latest versions of firefox and safari.
brilliant.
this is going to be great.

"'perfected' to the point where it was a profitable"
Meh? Obviously it was not.
We're still here upon our own volition and the game lasted this long in spite of you and not because of you.

Get with the program Stink, Stank, Stunk. It's your responsibility as the client to figure it out.
