Firestorm and I now have a partnership. Thus, he mades mods, and I host them.
All though there are not that many maps in the rotation so far, a new map will be added every month or so as a “Bonusâ€, until we get so many we will have to start cycling through them.
-=Preloading The Maps=-
Most Current Preload
Note: The preload only has the terrains! It is highly recommended that you get the dazzle pack! If you do not have the dazzle pack you will have a small load when you join! (Time without dazzle or preload, About 7-10 minutes, give or take the map, and your internet speed) (Time to load with preload, but no dazzle pack, About 1-5 minutes, give or take the map, and your internet speed) (Time to load with preload and dazzle pack, NONE!)-=Instructions for installing the preload=-
1. After you downloaded the preload, extract to the desktop2. Open the folder that you just extracted (should be a folder called fstr1)
3. Then navigate to your Thinktanks directory, or where you installed Thinktanks. You know you are there if you see a game folder, a common folder, and a Dedicated folder (if you are on mac, you wont see a dedicated folder)
4. Once you are at your Thinktanks directory, double click on game, then data, then missions and leave that open
5. Once you have done that, go back to the folder that you downloaded, should be called fstr1, if you didn’t change it, and copy all of the contents in that folder to the missions folder in your Thinktanks directory.
6. Then close out of the Missions folder, and of the fstr1 folder, load your game and join Firestorms Mods. Depending on what shapes you have, you might have to download some, but not that much.
And there you go, you have successfully downloaded the preload. PM or email me if you have any questions about installing the preload.
