let me clue the kids in on something here...

us "adults" make our own money working at jobs that generally keep us satisfied, live in our own homes, come home to our girlfriends or wives, spend time with our children (those of us that have them), and do the general maintenance on whatever life demands. all of these things are real concerns that require 95% of our attention on a daily basis. 24/7.

when we get to the 5% of our time where we can do anything we want, we choose to spend part of that time here on PTT2 and on TT. in the greater scheme of our "adult" lives this means very little to us other than to provide a brief respite from constantly dealing with real life concerns that come with real life consequences.

its virtually inconceivable for anyone that hasnt lived entirely independently to be able to comprehend how differently you view the world when you are saddled with all the responsibilities of being an adult. now, eventually you "kids" will get thrust into the real world where everything comes with real consequences and you will begin to learn what it means to be an "adult" and you will begin to understand why we dont care about overgrown children who cant or wont pull their thumbs outta their mouths. its bad enough having to deal with people whining and complaining about things that matter in the real world, when it comes to our 5% of free time here we have no patience for emotionally needy, attention grabbing, pacifier sucking behaviour concerning a game that has no real world consequences.

now this is not to say that "adults" dont like to mix with "kids". there are plenty of kids in this community that i would say have an uncanny perspective considering their age and real world experience...Monica, Dar, and Kj come to mind immediately. these individuals have no problems mingling within this community and they receive complete respect from us big bad "adults" and are quite simply a joy to be around.

to sum up...we are too busy to care about your "pay attention to me" whining and perceived slights. we always will be. if you are gonna whine then have some substance behind it and we will be all ears. if there is no substance, then it gets filed under "entertainment" as that is our primary reason for being here as it should be for you.

grow up, get a life, and invest in that. investing emotion here will NOT pay off.
