PsychoScrum League Season 14: Sign ups

i strongly suggest that each round of the draft have picks randomly distributed among the captains who are picking. in the past a draft order has been drawn with a 1 thru 6 order so the person lucky enough to get the first pick gets to pick first in every round. this heavily favors the 1st team to pick and unfairly puts the last team picking at a heavy disadvantage imo.

we need captains people. step up...if ya havent captained before but have some seasons under your belt then its your turn. its not that hard. ya just have to send an email out once a week with a starting lineup.

^Or like we used to do in dodgeball in elementary school, use the "snake". 1-6, then 6 picks first in second round and 1 last. In third round go back to the 1-6 order and so forth.

Sgt. Oddball: Well, yeah, man, you see, like, all the tanks we come up against are bigger and better than ours, so all we can hope to do is, like, scare 'em away, y'know. This gun is an ordinary 76mm but we add this piece of pipe onto it, and the Krauts think, like, maybe it's a 90mm. We got our own ammunition, it's filled with paint. When we fire it, it makes pretty pictures, scares the hell outta people! And we have a loudspeaker, when we go into battle we play music, very loud. It kind of... calms us down.

i really wanted to see where i would have gone in a draft but since everyone is being a pansy about it ill throw my hat in the ring once more. that means we need 2 more captains to commit. no "only if i have to"...that time has passed. so T-34, Vig, Deano or someone else grow a pair and lets get this thing moving.

Due to "not so good" results during the past term I will have to study a lot more during the upcoming one. Basically this leaves me no other choice then to leave this league. Not to get more sleep, I don't mind sleeping a little less but simple because I cannot be active on the game for a while. I wouldn't be worth much to my team.

Back from my travels to the Frosty northland and the East Coast. Hooked up with Jangles in Toronto and had a few beers and delicious Korean food. We set up the computers and fired up TT only to have the Master server be down! We had some good games on Banlist Indy using IP Joiner, but it was no TS! Oh well. We are planning a MAJOR TT Convention in Toronto in August. More details to come.

OK we are almost ready to get this beyotch off the ground. We have 5 captains, so we need one more.

I don't mind doing the "snake" method for doing the draft. Do people really do drafts that way? I have never heard of it, but I am willing to give it a shot. Let's hear some reasons why that is a bad idea.
