Silencing and Banning

People who are banned are can be banned by IP ar by username. Typically the IP's are banned because they are harder to change. There are ways around that so the community will typically inform us of someone getting around the system. We will then try to track them down and ban their new IP.

I really hate doing this to a new guy... but yeah, I have to.

"aaa TOD" has been publicly warned before to lay off the spamming and consider learning online forum etiquette... and he STILL hasn't quit spamming (see: the UF Army Thread, et. al) or sending meaningly PM's to people (see: "argh my poor mailbox") or learning how to use an online forum (see: DEANO).

Please PLEASE someone forward him the informative "Planetthinktanks Forum Etiquette" video that was made a few years ago... or a Rules Thread link... or perhaps a Silence period.

I don't hate the guy... but when I was 15, I learned the ways of online forum discussion P.D.Q.

I have warned aaaTOD 2 times, (mods can check his record) and already told him if it continues it will result in a silencing.


Edit: I just deactivated his account here. Was in his server with a bunch of bots names as players or players using mine and other tankers names. I told him to remove them and he banned me from his server. I will get his ip out to aca for banning.

^ Question on the imposter bots. Wasn't Dazz allowed to use Tink's name in his server because it was his server? The response I got from vets was pretty much since it was his server, he could do whatever he wants. What's the difference here? It is plainly stated that it is his server in the list. Just curious...

The difference is I asked him to remove my name and he banned me. Kinda stupid I'd say. Anyway he has 30 days to reflect.

I also believe Dazz apologized , and meant no harm. Its not like he kept it as a bot name.
