Yes it is you I refer to.
Yes the stalling sucked.
I did not put out ANY insults. I have NEVER swore or insulted anyone EVER in any game. The only thing I said was I lost respect for you.
I did see some insults from my team mates (I dint see who it was) I was too busy playing. I do not condone it. Yes I consider it poor sportsmanship.
You forgot to mention the part about being 1 point ahead and you smoking and me having you cornered and you blatantly diving. I did not see the other 2 times you (fell off) so I let them go.
Out of all the games I played (some close and some not) I did not see anyone else resort to diving just to win a game.
Well you did it we and we all know it. If no one else has a problem with it they don't.
Like I said before, I don't have to play, so when I do I will pick who I play with.
Thats all, this is over for me.
Just thought others should know what kind of person they are playing with. (all they have to do is read your post)
Yes it does sound like I'm whining. Oh well think what you will. This would not of effected the end results of us coming in last. Yes that does suck.

Hmm, I wasn't in that game, but in general, you can't expect the other team to just hand over the scrum in a one point game. You can expect them to try to calculate the odds of gaining back control if they don't dive. Its a marginal situation that shouldn't be judged according to non-league TS etiquette.
In defense of the Freezer's good sportsmanship, we sat players several times throughout the season in order to make the games fun for those involved. Most recently in the playoff games when NUTS! lagged out in each game, and we ended up winning by only one point in each game. Not all teams have done that in the PSL history.

@ Blind Cide:
If Smacky dived that is poor sportmanship... If a team gets to corner the scrum carrier they should be awarded their point (if they make it to the goal).
Diving is not fairplay in my book, but that is just me...
Not saying you are saying that diving is fairplay,
@ Rx:
I would like to thank you too for this season, looking forward to the play offs.. Looking forward to the next PSL sing ups thread.

^If he was that close to the edge of the map he could probably have forced GRRReat to kill him, with the same result as a dive. Sometimes it is in the best interest of game action (fun) to keep things moving instead of waiting for the inevitable. Its just the nature of close to the edge action in PSL. If you want to encourage someone to try to run away from the edge, don't shoot them to within one shot of brain pop until they are far enough away from the edge that they can't dive.
I have always considered being shot up on the edge as the forcing of the play by the shooter. Again, what do you expect me to do without a sporting chance?
I would consider diving with full health and a sporting chance to be unsporting. But the other is self sacrifice and I don't expect that of anyone for any reason.

Ask the opposite team wether they thought it is fun to dive.
Im not into this for the discussion, Im not gonna reply on this topic again. I did not meant to offend anyone with this or my first post, I don't know wether you took offense but if you did, I didn't mean to.

It isn't fun until someone loses
Thanks everyone for a great season!
@RX, you rock! You are by far the best (only?) commissioner ever!
Kudos to NUTS! and Roo too -- thanks for the fun maps and reliable hosting.
@fishtank, well thanks for all the fish! Bolo, thanks for letting me score once in a while :)

Hey, its all good.
It is PSL so you gotta expect some "extra" tactics. I saw a few times were teams with the lead and stalled, no biggies. Chase, shoot, get the scrum.
As for my "lagouts" they were not lagouts per say but something x server (graphics) that would wig out my mouse. and keyboard. I thought I had them fixed which is why I had tried to get to the game early to make sure. I was watching my screen to see what was interfering with it. But low and behold someone started the game a little early and I saw I was playing. ooops
The best part is being able to see the game but not do anything. So players would come up and smoke me and drive away. Then most the time I would see the other team score. While I was trying to reset my screen. That was frustrating.
I will say that the "edge" driving and diving seemed a little more used tactic this season.
@BC
I will always say edge driving is the same is diving. It does get a little frustrating to go after someone and the first thing they do is head for the edge and run. Heck I have no problems making them dive (what you call "edge running"). Most the time it works out to my favor (not to dive myself). But it does ruin the flow of the game when it happens often.
@all PSL members
Please refrain from saying GJ!, NICE!, etc, To your teammate after they score or steal the scrum in the universal chat, please use teamschat ("/tm your message"). Obviously PSL games can get a touch intense. Of course if you say it to the other team it should be ok to use the universal chat.

Yes, the larger picture is that this has been another great season due to everybody's good efforts.
Thank you NUTS! for bringing up the chat issue. That's been my pet peeve for some time. I always try to use (/ <message>) when giving positive affirmation to my team. I understand that in the heat of the game sometimes the syntax gets messed up and it inadvertently ends up in broadcast chat.
Thank you to everyone who endeavors to use team chat, as I really don't want to waste my time reading cudos given for burning me.

i shoot players up when they ride the edge. My thought on the matter is if that player is holding the scrum he's controlling the flow of the game.
He'll ride the edge until doing otherwise favors his team. I'd rather waste him and roll the dice on another drop than let him have that control.
It has been a fun season. I'll ask the BNL team about a map. Our captain has been awol for awhile.
