I find it impossible to get on some servers that have mods. When i try to join the server I get the loading screen and it stops when the "loading objects" bar is full.
I think I remember this problem before, and it is not my firewall. Can someone help?
DAZZLE'S UPGRADE PACK
If you haven't already done so, upgrade your game by downloading Dazzle's all-in-one upgrade pack. It comes with everything you need for today's servers. Does your blue bar freeze when joining servers? Do you lag in games? Do you get an annoying siren in Phobik's Servers? This is what you need. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD.

If you are on windows download my upgrade pack from this thread: http://planetthinktanks2.com/viewtopic.php?t=2689
Then grab and install the latest mod pack from: http://homepage.mac.com/peptoids/mods_since_5_1_06.zip
If you do the above you will be bang up to date with all the TT extras you will need to get into virtually every server

this only works if you have a good internet connection, so dont do it if you have dial upTMG Leader wrote:or increase your packet rate you'll dl much faster then normal, this also keep your tt nice, clean, small (if that matters to you), and It'll keep you from having to keep any unwanted data.

Go to game/client pref.cs
Open with notepad
Change
$pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = "10";
$pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = "16";
$pref::Net::PacketSize = "200";
to this
$pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = "32";
$pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = "32";
$pref::Net::PacketSize = "450";
Save file and delete game/client.cs.dso
to insure changes
as you can see in the quote

If only you had the rest of that document you could see how wrong your quote is;
28.8K Modem
$Pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = 12;
$Pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = 16;
$Pref::Net::PacketSize = 200;
56.6K Modem
$Pref::Net::PacketRateToClient = 16;
$Pref::Net::PacketRateToServer = 20;
$Pref::Net::PacketSize = 240;
As you can see you were not 100% certain and could never have been due to the fact that you were not possession of all the information, you just thought you were and have now been proven wrong....................
