That's the second video from that guy on Global Warming that you have posted, 44.

Do you feel strongly about Global Warming?

About both videos -

He fails to mention what happens if A1 ends up happening. That's a lot of money being spent, and it's not all flowers and smiles like he suggested.

Sorry 44, I couldn't watch it for more than 2 minutes.

Global warming is cyclical.

Ever wonder why Greenland is called Greenland? Because it used to be green. Mother Earth is still in a cooler cylce than it usually is. It is on a warming trend, but I think the human race will die of something else before we die of global warming.

I do agree that we need to cut pollution arond the world. The Chinese are the worst. They emit more CO2 than we do at this point.

Please don't take this the wrong way..

Global warming is a fact. Your argument about Greenland is not correct..
The name Greenland comes from Scandinavian settlers. In the Icelandic sagas, it is said that Norwegian-born Erik the Red was exiled from Iceland for murder. He, along with his extended family and thralls, set out in ships to find the land that was rumoured to be to the northwest. After settling there, he named the land Grænland ("Greenland"), possibly in order to attract more people to settle there.[2] Greenland was also called Gruntland ("Ground-land") and Engronelant (or Engroneland) on early maps. Whether green is an erroneous transcription of grunt ("ground"), which refers to shallow bays, or vice versa, is not known. It should also be noted, however, that the southern portion of Greenland (not covered by glacier) is indeed very green in the summer, and was likely even greener in Erik's time because of the Medieval Warm Period.

Global warming

Post by Meat Puppet »

Dont get me wrong, I feel that global warming may be a real and present danger and there are alot of people pushing this as a high priority, but as a person on this earth you are more likely to starve to death than have global warming kill you. If you were freezing to death you would light a fire. Guess what, there are 6,605,008,900 people on this earth at last estimate. some of them are freezing and some are hungry, many are trying to scrape together enough money to make a life that their next child doesn't die because of a lack of basic needs being fufilled. You will never get those people to agree to a plan that stops their source of income. Many countries have higher standards of living and can afford to do more and in many cases they are. There are many technologies that are being worked on to find economical solutions. If it doesnt make economic sense then it will not "catch-on" no matter how much it's pushed. I think that is what bothers me about your guy in the video; He speaks as though all we have to do make a decision to commit to this "plan" and everthing will be ok. at last check the USA contains only 1% of that 6,605,008,900 people. It is terribly arrogant to presume that we can force our will on that other 99% in this matter. Even if you include Europe you are still way short of a majority. and most of the world does not work on majority rule anyway. Would you force people to comply with whatever standards are adopted? And if you decide the use force you better decide what lengths you would go to enforce those standards. Remember also that we cannot stop emitting CO2 (unless you stop breathing) we can only decrease it. Maybe population control is a more realistic goal.

I agree totally...

And turkey is called turkey because the bedrock is made from prehistoric compressed poultry.
