A pure upload/download sub-domain called downloads.planetthinktanks2.com has been created for your use.

If you are a FTP user looking for file space online, AND a registered user of PTT2 please FTP to this account:

Once inside downloads.ptt2.com, please create a USER folder for your goods and put YOUR STUFF into it. You may then link to those items in your folders in your posts and what nots here on PTT2.

Awesome idea. I could upload all my stuff! Like reticles, 3X radar, dash codes, scripts, etc.

How much space per person. Like could I uplaod my full "game" folder with all missions and nappy pack? So all I would have to do is redownload after reintalling TT?

Let's try to keep the first 100 FTP users to around 1/2 gb??? what say ye?
though I think typical tank storage should run most folks around what? 100mb?

so somewhere in there...we have 300gb to play with for now, and it's only a couple bucks a month more to move up to 1000 gb. no biggie. I'll let you all know where we are at in some form of monthly bandwidth usage report....

webshell will make life easy...you can move stuff, delete folders without having to delete content, tar.gz unzip and fun fun fun with webshell.

I do think you all should stay away from the "protect" feature, unless you are familiar with htaccess...and even then you wouldn't have access to the root:root in the event you protected and forgot. If you need protection on a folder, just buzz me and I'll hook you up.

Are these files that we upload available to everyone? If so, it would be a great way to host our custom TT maps, skins, etc.

EDIT: Duh, of course it is... lol We need to make sure no one uploads his/her entire TT folder on there, otherwise the DEMO's could get ahold of it, and PTT2 could possibly get sued...
