XIII server
How 'bout we put up a server with the PSL XIII maps so they will be well used and familiar by the time we play on them?

^ Good idea.
Hey BC or NUTS! if you captured the game, can you send your jsave file to me? or maybe post it somewhere where I can download it?
Also, a big thank you to Roo for providing all the maps this season! It was a huge luxury to have custom made maps this season. They were all really fun and challenging to play on. It definitely kept things fresh, and forced everyone to stay on their toes. As BC suggests, I think it is a good idea to host a rotation of the PSL13 maps. That way all drafted players can vote on them prior to the season start.
Yes, there will be a season 13!

its about GD time!!
well in my 8th season of coaching ive finally took home the trophy! i predicted these 2 teams in the finals at the draft and i honestly thought luck would separate the winners from the losers. luck aside i still think watching the tape will show better skills for the razors, me in particular
happy bday babs!

Video Progress Report:
I got Game 1 and Game 2 into iMovie.
Steps taken so far:
The game is of course from my perspective instead of from the observer position, so this will be quite different from the last PSL video. If any other players have video capture, it could be interesting to incorporate other angles, but would be considerable work.
Remaining steps:
I got Game 1 and Game 2 into iMovie.
Steps taken so far:
- 1. replay games one at a time using jPlay
2. capture sound & video with SnapzPro during replay (30 fps, 800 x 600)
3. compress using H.264 (medium quality), at this stage each game is 1.3 GB
4. import into iMovie, trim down to game footage
5. adjust video speed to bring game time to 15 min from ~21 min (because Snapz capture/jSave replay bogs down CPU so video comes out in slo-mo)
6. adjust sound pitch back to normal (since it got really high-pitched from adjusting video speed faster)
The game is of course from my perspective instead of from the observer position, so this will be quite different from the last PSL video. If any other players have video capture, it could be interesting to incorporate other angles, but would be considerable work.
Remaining steps:
- 1. incorporate other camera views. Anyone else stepping up with footage?
2. add slo motion replay sequences (there really weren't many hot action sequences at all, so there may be very few of these, if any).
3. record commentary (either Rx alone, or jointly via Skype with someone else, or have different different sections called by different people).
4. add intro sequence.
5. final video editing (transitions, titles, etc).
6. compress video (H.264).
7. upload to web.
8. probably no highlight reel, we'll see.
