Rollerball Season I: Sign-ups.

I haven't forgotten about this. I have all of the the captains that are needed, and drafts will be next week. I am looking to start this league on June 25, and, although two weeks later than originally planned, it should still work out.

@Captains: I've been having problems logging onto my Internet due to my ISP giving me problems (I'm doing this from a school comp). If you want, go ahead and continue with the draft tonight, or wait for me to get this settled. It will hopefully be straightened out by mid-week.

I was just thinking, is there any form of Rollerball gameplay stratergy developed yet? If not, I think that all the teams should play a few pregames before the league starts up so we can properly learn a good gameplay strategy.

@Ice: No, there aren't really any official Rollerball strategies yet, but there are a few tentative strategies that you can hypothesize. However, it would be a good idea for teams to practice on Dazzle's server before the first game.

@Captains: Hopefully you all saw my above message in time. I just got my ISP problem fixed, so I'm sending an e-mail now to reschedule the draft. Sorry for the inconvenience guys.

That's the great thing about Rollerball... there is no one way to tackle the gameplay. That means we could have four teams with four different strategies, which makes everything a lot more interesting.

I personally have been revisiting maps to try and find some sort of approach that my team can test for each... but even the best laid plans can go bad... so the "blast the SOB's outta the water" strategy is a capable Plan B

Sign-ups end now. Drafts will be tomorrow (pending no problems), and a new season thread up the day after.

Teams are in. Look for an e-mail from your captains in the next few days. Currently we are working out the last few issues with Rollerball and it won't be long until this is going.
