You do not have enough members already? You have to grab every last good player out there so that we little armies have no chance...how many do you need? How many are you going for? What is the point of putting this up if you will not except hardly anyone because all of the good people are already in SA, UF, MI, FI and such. I see no point in putting this in here. If we as EA, posted something like this, we would have been flamed. Been told that we are too needy and actually take the time to recruit on TT and recruit valuable people. Yet you all at UF can pull this off because you are respected. I down here at the bottom of the totem pole get little respect as I try to move my way up. Is it possible? NO! I have tried to recruit and recruit. They turn me down and then days later join a different army. I am so tired of not being able to receive any good players anymore because they all join bigger armies. What do you all need them for? How many of you actually have used ALL of your players in the many wars you have had? I bet that number is few. You want your best competition out there so you take your best 5 or 6 and switch off. What do you all need the extras for anyway? Correct me if I am wrong, but why not give these skilled ones to the smaller armies so that we could atleast try to become a challenge for you. Every time I bring this subject up, people just walk away because they want power. I would like to thank you for listening to me, and please consider carefully.

Ok... in all honesty, I dont see one valid point in your post. Obviously the armies you listed have good players because the players find that army appealing for thier own personal reasons. And if those armies have such a monopoly of good players its because they deserve it. '

Heres a suggestion. Work with the members that are currently in your army, rather then trying to hard to get more. Train with them, and eventualy they wil get better with practice. Thus, you will have good members in your army, you will eventualy become a formidable oponent to the better armies, and you can work your way up the ladder. And along the way, pick up more members. Maybe if you focused more time on that then trying to receive pitty, you could reach your goals.

Because I don't really see why people should take you seriously enough to join your army if you are envious of everyone else. Show some pride.

@ Smea(no)goal : get the head up, train & train. ask to vet to help if needed : why dont you train & may be ask to join a big army ? Maybe joinin a big will help to imrpove & AFTER you'll be able to create your own w/out pain for recruit...

Smeagol... UF is no different than any other army in that players come and go. Some become inactive and some are extremely active. Basically, any army recruits from time to time. Some players who have tried before to get in UF have been denied... only later to be considered after they got a bit better. We dont wish anyone hardship because of our recruiting... but blaming us for your difficulties seems misplaced. I would recommend that you lighten up, go with what you have, work hard like others have said, and most importantly -- have fun.

All good players have started playing at some point and have gotten better... we did not START good... and our teamwork has evolved as we have gotten better as players. You have the same possibilities in front of you as any one in UF... and EA can be a power house as you apparently desire. Just work at things, develop your individual games, learn from vets, and work on your team work. Attacking others doesnt help any of these areas. I wish you all the best in your efforts.

I am sorry if my previous post sounded harsh. I did not mean it in that way. I am just really upset right now because of our recent loss of players. Somehow these scattered ones join OB and grow to 10+ members. Many of those members, I tried to recruit into EA and they rejected. Now they come in and join OB. Even some who have been in larger, better armies have joined OB. I have become very frustrated and have thought many times over of quitting. I did not mean to take it out on UF or any other army. I am sorry if I offended anyone. I just ask that you think from my point of view. I thank you for your compliments and strategies. I am hoping to train up our best members but I do not know at this time how much we can amount to. I just felt that if I or someone in EA had posted something like this, you all would have made fun of us. Saying that we are so desperate to get members that we will take anyone. I am proud to do all of my recruiting in private and always thought I would be looked down upon if I did something like this. I am sorry for everything I have said. I wish you could experience my frustration. Good luck recruiting and I will see you all out there.
