Are orcs immortal?
Smeagol
Driven mad and twisted by his loss of the One Ring decades ago, he is compelled to hunt Middle-earth, searching everywhere for the only thing in the world he ever cared for, his “preciousâ€. Gollum tries to steal the Ring from Frodo and Sam in The Two Towers, but ends up being their unlikely guide into Mordor. He leads them into a trap so he can reclaim the One Ring for himself.

Isenguard
Isenguard is the dwelling place of Saruman the White. He turns away from his allies and build an uruk hai army ten thousand strong to march on Helm's Deep.
Sting
Sting is an elven-sword that was claimed by Bilbo Baggins from a Troll's hoard during his adventures with Gandalf the Grey and Thorin Oakenshield. Bilbo named the sword Sting when using it to rescue Thorin and his companions from giant spiders in Mirkwood. Later, Bilbo gave the blade to Frodo while at Rivendell, to assist Frodo on his quest to destroy the One Ring.
The One Ring
The one ring is the cause of all evil in middle earth. Because of the Ring, the spirit of Sauron endured. Then he called the nine black riders taken by the ring to search the lands for the one who carries it. Frodo and his companion Sam make it all the way to Mount Doom and destroy the ring just in time. Sauron is finally defeated.
For the sake of simplicity and fairness, we are assuming the characters are fighting whilst at the height of their powers.
