Sorry for the no-show folks. I am in week 1 of teaching a month-long field course (usually 7 am - 6 pm daily), but a vehicle broke down in a muddy farmer's field yesterday and I didn't get back to the comp until after 9:30 pm. I was looking forward to PSL, and was disappointed and, quite frankly, embarrased to be part of the cause for the first cancellation of a game I've ever been involved with.
I have just gotten back in from the field tonight (at least this late day was planned). I am certainly up for a double-header next week to get the makeup in, and hope the 7 pm "deadline" hasn't dumped the chance.
Lemme know what your team thinks, get some, and I'll round up the troops.

I am OK with rescheduling a double header next week, but let's get confirmation from those involved ASAP. The make-up game should be played before the regular game.
DFP would prefer to play a rescheduled match and as we have a bye next week it shouldnt be a problem for us. may i suggest a 9:00 start time eastern? i'll send an email to my guys to let them know.

George: did you check the vehicle for possible sabotage? When I read 'mud field' I thought of 'Dysfunctional Picnic'. It has the smell of conspiracy all over. Remember last season when Bolo's car wouldn't start? I see a pattern here... Either endemic wussness, or some FBI-level stuff.

The DFP dont need hand outs. We would prefer playing for our 5pts (as Nuts accurately expressed) than being handed 4pts. As long as the captains and commish are ok with it we expect to play a game with the DT's on wed night....before or after regularly scheduled games.
