Any tips for the solo missions? i get up to like 340000 points and i want to UFO, but i always get game over at level 27-28!

any help?

uh... Thats a cheat, not a tip.

^^I'm sure there was a thread on this deep in PTT 1. Look in the archive. Something about using a divide and rule tactic on the bots. That is, using your radar to locate the bots and classify them into groups, then go after the smallest or nearest group and kill it before moving on to the next.

Seriously tho, the ufo isnt all its cooked up to be. It's fast, but hard to control. It is also less armored than even the light tank.

Also, the big ufo is super slow and rather "bulky."

^^^ Really. Thats what I actually do in Solo Mode. Get on a helicopter, prop plane, or jet and then make a clone.
T-90 made the 'copter seen above. I just fly it.

True.

If you check a stock tankDb.cs file, you'll find that the BabyBoss UFO(the 500000 point prize) has a damageAmount of 10 and an armorScale of 1.8. Total armor is found by dividing damageAmount by armorScale. That means the the BabyBoss UFO can only take 5.5 hits before flipping.

Compare this to the total armor of the:

Light Tank - 11.8
Medium Tank - 14
Heavy Tank - 21
Boss UFO - 45

Yes, medium tank is biased towards light in armor. The UFO actually has less than half of the effective armor of the Light!

The little UFO has a maxSpeed of 16 metres per second. Compare this to the:

Light Tank - 15.9
Medium Tank - 11.9
Heavy Tank - 9.1
Boss UFO - 8

Yes, medium tank is biased towards heavy in speed.

Technically, the BabyBoss is only a little more slippery than the light tank in moving turns, but has the same turn rate in stationary turning. Both the Light and the UFO use the exact same weapon, the LightProjectile. The Boss shares it's weapon with the Heavy. Both of them use HeavyProjectile.

Ehh... Any text editor will work, but editors with syntax highlighting- especially C#- tend to work better.
