3 on 3 Tourney??

So there's been recent talk about a 3 on 3 Tourney. There are supposedly 2 other teams ready to go--and now I've got my team assembled. When are we getting this thing rolling??

Unofficial 3 on 3 TS teams

Not a tourney, just unofficial teams of 3 that always stick with their team and can challenge eachother anytime through email/ptt2/in-game/etc. Apparently Jangles/dj/bolo are the best team of 3 (jangles says) so i have challenged them to 3 on 3 against my team of supra/weasel/w00t. If you have a team of 3, then you can challenge any other team of 3 for your own reason. It is just an unofficial team of 3 grudge match for fun. You could say your team is the best if you continue to beat other teams of 3.

This is NOT A LEAGUE. It is just a fun thing that players have been doing for years by organizing their own team to try to have the best team in thinktanks.
This will not happen in the middle of nightly games.

Games will be scheduled by the teams and games will happen in a separate server. This should in no way ruin the nightly games.

Oh, I stand corrected! I've never done 3 on 3 unofficially, so this is all new for me. Thanks for the clarification, Wease!

So, (forgive me if this sounds stupid) I could email you, w00t and supra right now and set up a game in the next week?

i could be into this. i doubt i could reassemble the epic team of me Fish and Memphis but im open to recruiting attempts if anyone out there wants to assemble a team.

Epic shmepic. There was only one truly great 3 vs 3 team and that was Nuts, Napalm and Rogue. For whatever reason we were unbeatable and that's when this game was at its apex. Took a quick look for the thread but it must have been on the old PTT site.

We were possibly the sexiest team as well.
