Ok I'm so lost....(old lady here) needs lots of help ...what has happend??
have I been gone that long??? I don't understand daddy!!!! help me!!
need to know where to and how to get back on TT...Do all my mods still exsist here??....have I died and gone to Hell?? "pouts"...

If you're talking about the PTT2 website, it was changed quite a while ago. But no posts that I know of have been moved or deleted, so your mods should still be on here.

No need to panic. The big problem is that the master server GarageGames ran is gone. InstantAction failed as a company and was shut down. They took TT down with them. Master bye-bye.

Fortunately, Mr. Phobik set us up with a new master server. You'll need to get some edits done on your .../client/prefs.cs file, and you'll see servers again. How to thread here

Or, check this thread... for a patch installer V made... and then I made one for macs

If you need a copy of TT for Windows, I put an installer in my little archive. I'd post the others too, but they're too big to put on the site with a free account.

If you need upgrades, THE V put together an installer for PCs. Maybe he can pass it on to you.

Oh... and as far as mods, I have copies of the ones you made with player's names as titles. Not sure about the others.

Ya see, IA/GG had to sell off the rights to their games. MarbleBlast went to IAC, InstantAction's parent company (they owned GG for a while). ThinkTanks, I'm still not sure about, but apparently GG knows we're still here. One of the developers said this:

We are looking at options for the TT community and will keep you updated.

So TT is still up in the air. GG keeps a blog, so to stay posted, I'd recommend checking that, as well as the comment section.

I'll stand by what I said...

When InstantAction went belly up, GG lost rights to the game. It is not for sale at GG anymore, and the GG master server is gone.

If that isn't taking TT down, I don't know what is. I have copies of the game and can register new copies, but can't buy it new anymore- at least not at GG, and the only version I can find for sale is the PC version, and that from Shockwave, which I don't believe will work.

The way I see it, we're on our own now.
