Phobik's Master server back in business!

Hey everyone,

Looks like Warfare has written a small piece of code and fixed the server list. Thanks to Warfare for his expertise, to Pho, Cloud, Cb and all who have been trying to get us back online. Most all servers is showing up (though it takes 20-40 secs to populate the list for me.... maybe its faster for others)

I can see 13-15 servers each time.

Please make the adjustments at the top of this page (look for sticky), test it, and let us know if there are any anomalies.

Pho will be in later to post more information!

BUT.... we are BACK!!!! :-)

The reason why it is taking so long is because there is one server that its spending a lot of time searching for because one server is not port forwarded correctly. The time of "searching" for servers will be reduced once this server is port forwarded.

Huge thanks to Warfare for taking the time to look at the script and figure out what was causing the problem.

Essentially when the client was re-requesting a packet, the master didn't know what to do. Thats why you only got the first few servers from the initial burst.

Anybody that has not set my master should do so NOW..link below for instructions:

Now all we need to do is to get GarageGames to forward master.garagegames.com to me..but I doubt that will happen.

The server list is loading much faster now. Less than 15 seconds for me.

I really appreciate the help. Everyone involved, do you realize that you're responsible for keeping the game going in spite of the closure of the company that has the IP rights? Great balls of fire!!

I was wondering what was going on last night when I got back from Honduras and reset my servers secondary master IP.

Was wondering if I did something wrong.

Thank you guys for setting this up. I think that it is official that we are a completely self-sustaining community now. Kind of rocks when you think about it.

what i dont see is any players in the servers!!!!
