Hi all,

Long time..hope everyone is doing well.

I have set up a server in one of Toronto's biggest data centers.
Its running Debian 5.0[minimal] on a Xeon processor hosted on 4 tier 1 upstream providers. Hopefully it should run well.
If people could please test it and give me feedback on how it runs I'd appreciate it. If it doesn't do the job then I'll just take it down..no point. If it does then it will remain up 24/7.

Ping's 110-125 for me. Barely visible stutter lag. Does have a decent firerate.

My opinion. Usable for PSL & TBML. Keep it up.

Was in it yesterday... thought someone rose from the dead! Seemed like it was smooth to me. There was only 3 or 4 of us in it. We need to see what its like at full capacity.
Glad to see another server in the mix. So when are ya going to get your gun warmed up?

Server is very smooth. This baby is going to be up for a looooong time to come! Based in Toronto. The old Phobik Tree is back. Reminds me of DASHBASH

Ping in the 80s... good firerate

Played with 10 - 11 in there at the same time, and it was solid the whole time. Did get one short hiccup when one player left, but very nice server.

As a student of lagosity, I'm now convinced of the value of servers being hosted from datacenters. The quality of gaming experience in Pho's server is excellent.

I'm inspired to put some servers up in some other datacenters to get a comparison. Pho, how long do you expect your server to be up?

Frankly, I wasn't too happy to see my ping fluctuating so much. At times it was 23 , other times hovering around 16, occasionally jumping to 19, and sometimes nosediving to 3 or 4. I also found it waaay too fast, killing was too easy, and it just plain threw my game off.

But, thanks for making me an addict again, Phobik. Welcome back!
