What does DashCodes include?
DashCodes include some easy-to-use codes. With those codes you can control about you're server.

Codes

Client-Side : admin login (/adm pass), tank changers (/tank), team changers (/team), observermode me (/obs), project. changers (/projectile), ping (/ping name), teamchat (/tm message) private chat (/pm message)

Admin Only : centerprint (/cp message), silence (/s name), kick (/kick name), ban (/ban name), stats (/stats), rename (/r oldn newn), nuke (/nuke), kill (/kill name)

Wordfilter

The wordfilter, filters the chat. (it could cause lag) ;
My download doesn't include it, since i never found the correct d/load that included it...
Someone e-mail it to me?
Extra's

TankDb.cs - makes you make other tanks
UberBots - makes you make other 'bots'
Prefs.cs - makes you make DashCodes more personal (i'll give more info about it later)

Install Instructions
Okay. If you follow this correctly, it should work. (if you find eny errors, let me know)

go to ThinkTanks/game/server
create a new folder named 'dash' in it
drag all files (of the download) to the folder 'dash'
go to: game/server/dash/prefs.cs
at least change you're password (wish you can set in prefs.cs)
you can change some other stuff too (like messages)
if you done all that, go to ThinkTanks/main.cs (make sure that that file isn't main.cs.dso)
open up main.cs
add this line to the bottom of it (make sure you have whole the bolded part) : exec("game/server/dash/main.cs");
start up a dedicated server (to see if it all worked)
if you do not get eny errors on the dedicated-window, you installed everything correctly!

firstly, i'm a mac. second, CB said something about 3 locations to put the pass in (i had a PM thread going with CB, he stopped responding...) and lastly i don't think you need a dedicated server. (i got it to work before, but admin didn't work. i know why, i didn't put it in the 3 locations, but now it won't work at all!)

i am suspicios of my computer. nothing seems to work. i think there's a messed up file or something. because ModWiz, ACAS, TWloading, TGE (when used with TT)... all don't work!!!!!

this might be the problem: do all you other Macs have a "Contents" folder that everything else is in?

I told you what I check and or change when changing my admin pass. That is I first change it in the game/server/dash/pref.cs and then I change it in my game/server/pref.cs and my game/client/pref.cs. I delete the dso's after I make the change. I'm not sure if you need to do anything else on a Mac other than put the dash folder in the server folder and put the exec. command line on the bottom of the main.cs.

Also make sure you remove any other admin scripts you may have installed.

sry if that was off topic but....

if have any other admin codes like acas dash will not work! try looking to see if u have any other codes that might mess up dash then delete them. if that dose no work well... try useing the back up u have of think tanks. ( if u have one )

i'm not really that fussed about it. don't start yelling or going to a lot of trouble to help me, it's not worth it.

Hmmm... Seems like PC's don't have spell check.... :P

Anyway, Taylor, try a new main.cs. I have had this problem in the past where nothing would work and that seemed to fix it. If not, reinstall TT and make sure there are no remaining files of the previous installation. Then the computer will run the game like it was never installed before. Hope this helps!
