what would happen if I opened up a huge range of ports? Lets say... 26000-30000? Would it affect the strength of my firewall?

In theory, yes. You really shouldn't open more than 1 port, 28000, unless you're going to run more than one server at a time.

help. i put in my gateway IP adress and it says Authenticattion required. please put in the username and pasword for "DI_%24" at "http_Ip Adress"

i tried admin fro username and 1234 for pass but it didn't work. annd i don't wanna wait forever
