A newbie!
Welcome aboard, I look forward to seeing you in a game! My advice is to follow the other guys' advice (they know what they're doing) and that'll get you started. The first thing you do should be to get the map pack they keep mentioning and a few scripts (i.e. ping/framerate HUDs, Never-Stop-Downloading bar). They'll help you a lot by giving your copy of TT some more standard features on other games (like showing the time remaining in the round and download progress). Very handy.
