I have
game>data>terrain
but there's already lots of folders in this 'terrain' folder.

Do you have your rates set? If you do, you can download the game in seconds maybe a minute or two. If you can't figure it out this second, you can let it load by itself for tonight then we can work on the terrain files afterward.
