Well this is something I really hope can be addressed equitably this season.
The issue of whose servers are used for the games and where they are.

I know everyone has their more and least favorite servers out there.
I know some people are much better in certain servers and not in others.

I would like there to be some West Coast servers in the mix this season.
I really tire of languishing in the lag of midwest/east servers that dominate the TT landscape.

It really gives a significant advantage to those who live in the midwest/east. Conversely it is a real drag for us (and there are quite a few of us) west coasters.
I always laughed when certain players would fuss about RX's server or other west coast servers. Yet for those of us in the west that is our daily reality.
It is not my intent to trash or disrespect those who consistently put up servers.
Far from it.
I value their efforts and commitment.
But I still lag like hell in their servers.
In the intense PSL games it is really frustrating to feel like you have to play constantly hampered by the lag factor .
Yes I also realize that lag is a reality that cannot be completely removed from this game.

I do think we can, and we must, make it a bit more fair for all the players though.

I have no problems with west coast server. Just don't play on the same machine and open the ports.

My comp is in critical condition, lying on the table, and I'm just waiting to hear what the repair bill might be to see if I just need to pull the plug and go ahead and buy a new one.

But in the meantime I'm stuck on a grant-funded system in the dept that has a veritable paranoid-schizophrenic for an admin, so no TT-joy here. I'm discussing options for a work-around with Rx to get back into TT-land by Game 1, but I definitely did not want to get drafted and leave a team hanging... hence, my stint in the Reserves.

How about a Euro server? You could say all the same things about it, I can't play in a West Coast server my ping would be between 250 and 300. East Coast servers are best for everyone as it is in the middle .
