^ Inclined to agree, but not certain.

At the end of the day, it's a tank game. I'm not gonna spend 10K to get my fire rate all high and mighty.

I spent half an hour complaining to anyone and everyone about how Dr. Saw's server was laggy, and it turned out to be very playable during the match. Lots of fun. Sorry Dr. Saw and thanks for providing a server; Baba had a blast playing without lag.

Also, a very good map, although there were some spawn discrepancies, especially in the first game. (I noticed during a pickup game on Sunday/Monday how blue seemed to be getting all the spawns. Maybe the spawn locations just aren't spaced very well or something.) Overall though, awesome map. Very smooth, rock/tree placement was logical and helped gameplay. Goals were well fought, IMO. GGs Funk and looking forward to next week.

Personally I would have to say green if the spawn near a goal tilted towards one team or another it may have been towards the green team when it mattered. On the other side it did seem for a while in game two that I was spawning across the map a lot and did a lot of traveling too have my ass shot.

I think it looks good on me though>

not understanding map making at all...
In TBML we always change colors to avoid the inevitable bias that exists for one color or the other.
As this truly does exist in BM maps.
I was always under the opinion that that bias didnt exist in scrum, which is why we have never changed colors here.
That said in certain games it surely seems one team walks with the most good spawns... I'm never sure its the same color though (just usually the team I'm not on)
In the first game of the trout vs funk match. the trout did seem to have things fall our way, spawns etc, though second game I observed no such bias.

So is it luck of the draw?

should we consider switching colors? (Again I dont know the under the hood specifics to know if that would help?)

I would recommend not changing colors between games, as it is nice to keep the flow going un-interrupted. We have had several discussions about this issue and the experts have weighed in that this really isn't a significant deal.

It's been said that the spawns are random, regardless of color.

And yes, get some popped into the server at 7:00 pm exactly (after being MIA for months)! We were happy to see him back, but of course it was a bit disruptive, especially after the captains had voted to add Gray to the Wonder Boys. We'd like to keep a place open for GS, but since he is a formidable player, it would be good to know if he is in for real or not. Can you enlighten us GS?

honestly, in our matches, there weren't many fbs. it's just that the couple didnt go our way. good games.
i'm w/ you prof. aint gonna be any hardware upgrades to improve my performance on a 6 year old tank game. and i'm damn sure not moving to corn country to decrease my ping.
