Ge0rge has a major computer problem and is going to be out for the first part of the season and he asked to be put in the reserve pool. Hmm, maybe we should make him a captain?

Speaking of captains, I only see one volunteer so far. It is looking like we will have 6 teams of 6 players each. So we need 5 more captains. We would like to have people who have at least played one PSL season before, but the main criteria, as Baba stated above, is that you are PUMPED, committed to rallying your team to show up each week, and are a level-headed and good communicator.
That surely doesn't eliminate everybody, does it? It is a good opportunity to refine your leadership skills as well! Any takers?

ok...i throw my hat into the captain pool. i wanted a chance to be drafted to a team but since no one is stepping up i'll give it another whirl.

I think doing the draft tonight is just a little too rushed. I think we should do the draft next week on Wednesday night, the usual PSL time. Sound OK?

IMPORTANT NOTE: the maps for this PSL season have been in the TT_Mod_Pack Updates folder for 3 or 4 months already! So chances are you already have them. If you haven't gotten the updates folder in some time, then please go get it and install it.

so it looks like a 6 team season then. 6 teams, 6 players each team...leaves 3 in the reserve pool that wanna play. which brings me to a suggestion...

rather than having those three unfortunate players who wont get picked to rot in frustration in the reserve pool, maybe we can have three out of the 6 teams have a 7th "reserve" draft pick. this last pick will give the teams the option of using that player with the understanding that if another team falls on hard times that those players will be transfered to the other team.

i'm trying to be inclusive here so please dont dismiss this idea out of hand. try to imagine what its like for the 3 players who wont get picked who really want to participate. this'll give them an opportunity without necessarily being a guarantee. if an opportunity comes up...they play, if not...they dont. but they are still on a team, rather than in limbo.

if i had to sit in the reserve pool for most the season i would pretty much lose interest in leagues entirely. just a thought.

@gs: I agree. Perhaps we can leave it up to the captains whether they want to have the optional 7th player.
