Am I the only one who understands your cheeky Brit humor Cannon?
All this comparing gun size and driving skills is making me giggle like Three in the hot tub. I don't know, but somehow I'm more along the lines of Rogue. Here to enjoy the game and the people on a daily basis. You want hardcore, go PSL TBML, or "challenges". Half the time I'm eating and drinking while making a semblance of running around the map in a coherent manner. The other half I'm doing some work and paying bills. TT is perfect for distracting me from the pain of balancing the checkbook.
Trust me, there is NO TT god keeping tallies of your prowess and no hot chick is going to make your TT skills numero uno in her list of sexy things about you. Ask Bolo. Thus his absence.
Regular euro players are good. (Have we decided if ibot is from the UK or not?) The talent pool may not be there, but the cream doesn't "need" the chaff to justify their superiority (throwing the Euros a bone).

Come on Rogue,
Pull em up like thew big girls do!

You mean all it took was a little blathering form Woot and you go running away like a schoolgirl?
As far as the invalid packets are concerned, Make a note of which maps you and others are having issues with and toss them to the curb. I mean, there's like 300 maps right? Let's get some classic Monkee Man maps back in the circuit.

You smell that?
Do you smell that?
Napalm, son.
Nothing else in the world smells like that.
I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!

Err? I didn't leave. I was getting "invalid packets" on some maps as I've had issue with in the past. Only before I'd rather have dealt with it than uninstall. Woot has nothing to do with me uninstalling, the boredom created by this irrational competitiveness on a nightly basis did.

Re: Nightly Scrumbag Discussion
you know rogues gotta a point here. when did mediocrity become such a crime? why do we find it so detestable?
i make a pledge right here and now to become more mediocre and thus more palatable. i will also make an attempt to increase the wit and frequency of my banter. i will apply more self deprecating humor to my game and try to harangue the better players rather than the poorer ones. this i decree.
i invite all to make the same pledge.
lets bring back the "fun" into this dysfunctional pastime we all enjoy.

It seems like there's only a handful of guys who need direction.
Ibot
Matt-xp
For example Matt seems to try and go 3 on 1 sometimes.
Who does he think he is? Napalm?
Not yet son, step back and take a whiff. You don't smell like Napalm, Nobody smells like Napalm. He really stinks.
The other players I've seen over the past few weeks are BMR's that are trying to break into Scrum.
They seem to get it though. Team play.
I have to admit, I have to get he hot-keys sorted out. I never changes the messages form whomever I got them from.
Would be a great deal easier talking to my team if I was using the hot keys.
Feel free to move up and take the pass, especially if I'm smoking. More times than not I'm just trying to advance the scrum closer to the hole. Speaking of holes.... Get back to it Rogue.
maybe we can come up with another of maps for Dash? These have been beaten up pretty good over the last month or so.

Re: Nightly Scrumbag Discussion
damn fellas, i'm playing as poorly as i can. i'm already reading a book and balancing a toddler in my lap, what else do you want me to do? play with garden gloves on? so be it. i will now play with garden...no arc welding gloves just to make you all feel better. i will stop and chat randomly during fast breaks. because of my hunt/peck style, it will take me three minutes to compose "L-OjL!" and then i'll pause for burrito time.
should work out great.
on the other hand, another server could host the BSers TS. an obvious idea that no one has seconded. personally, i'd like to have the chance to bs w/rogue about his consumerist lifestyle "choices" in game, but i also appreciate a good TS match unimpeded by excessive verbal retardations (ala sluggy's update on the licorice unicorn he just consumed...).
Also, i don't see new folks getting berated. it's only iBot, and occasionally Matt or oxtox. these guys could buy a whole lotta tolerance by installing "MB" and "i'm Sorry" as hot keys. acknowledging your blunders goes an awfully long ways.
i'm sorry. c? it's ez.
